OUR STAFF

Tri-Community South EMS staff are all highly qualified, trained professionals.

We are proud of our staff for the service they provide, their dedication to emergency medical patient care and their professionalism while carrying out their duties.

The staff must continually train in advanced medical care, rescue situations, specialized care, weapons of mass destruction and bioterrorism. Our staff attend continuing education classes on a monthly basis with their ALS Medical Director, Owen Traynor.

The majority of our staff are CPR Instructors helping Tri-Community South remain the number one training center for the American Heart Association in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

All of our paramedics are preceptors. Preceptors are specially trained paramedics who evaluate paramedic students in the pre-hospital care setting while attending classes.

Tri-Community South EMS was the only site selected by the Center for Emergency Medicine to precept paramedic students from South Korea to go back to their country to function as advanced life support providers.

Recently, engineers from the Laerdal Corporation in Norway paid two visits to Tri-Community EMS to review our equipment and how it is used.
