Tri-Community South EMS is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center and is able to provide all of the Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) programs. Below is a description of the three basic and most commonly requested CPR classes. These CPR classes are held twice a month in the Tri-Community South EMS Classroom. Pre-registration is requested, but not required for these basic CPR classes. Walk-ins are always welcome. To register, simply click here to submit your name or call the Training Center office at 412-831-3710 and select option 3.
Heartsaver CPR Class ($25.00 Per Student)
This course teaches CPR and AED use as well as how to relieve choking on victims of all ages. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training. A course completion card is available to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Heartsaver CPR Class Plus First Aid ($35.00 Per Student)
This course teaches CPR and AED use as well as how to relieve choking on victims of all ages. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training. Students also learn critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives. A course completion card is available to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
Healthcare Provider ($40.00 Per Student) This course is designed for and limited to health care professionals only. The healthcare provider learns to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Any of these programs can be scheduled at your location or in the Tri-Community South EMS classroom for groups of six (6) or more students. Discounted rates are available for classes greater than twenty (20) students and for scouting groups, students and senior citizens.
